This one's for the women. Ever wonder what it's like to ride a bike that doesn't hurt your cootchie? That doesn't require manly mitts to grip the handlebars and comes in pretty colors? Find out today when Santa Cruz's very own Juliana Bicycles heads to De Laveage with a fleet of new models for women riders to demo. (That's groovy mountain bikerese for "try out for free.") They'll bring the high-performance, spanking-new Furtado and Joplin models, along with the beloved Origin, the model that started it all back in 1999 and is making everyone love the color persimmon. You bring credit card, ID and the pedals from your own bike (it's like leaving the keys at the dealership for a test drive). Everybody's happy. Plus there's food and a chance to meet Juli Furtado herself. Everybody's really happy. Family Cycling Center co-sponsors this swell event.
De Laveaga Park Baseball Fields. 10am-3pm. Free.
