Check out some awesome lady surfers at the Women on Waves Surf Fest at Capitola Beach. The local women's surf contest features surfers from age nine to 70, with the message to promote women's participation in surfing. Funds raised from this event will benefit the non-profits WomenCARE, Women's Crisis Support - Defensa de Mujeres and the Barry Hamby Cabrillo College Scholarship fund.
