Scrap the brunch plan and take Mom out on an outing she's sure to remember: birding at Rancho Del Oso with the Santa Cruz Bird Club! Bring some binoculars and watch for fluttered friends. This excursion is planned for a half-day, ending at 1:00pm.
Meet at a Companion Bakery, Mission Street, Santa Cruz at 7:30am, or meet the group at Waddell Creek Beach at 8am.
