Simmer down after your morning July 4th celebration activities with a leisurely swim (and slide) at the Simpkins Family Swim Center. Bring the whole family for some swimming, splashing and sliding fun and enjoy a BBQ lunch in the summer sun. Entrance to the pools are free and proceeds from the BBQ will support supporters and helpers of arts, recreation and parks.
Simpkins Swim Center, 979 17th Ave, Santa Cruz. Free, but bring money for BBQ goodies. 12pm-4pm.
