Every year the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County thanks its members with a fall fiesta. After last year's totally rockin' Hoedown at the Watsonville Slough Farm, the party moves to Antonelli Pond, the place where it all started for the Land Trust 26 years ago. There'll be live music, the Low 'n' Slow Food Truck (meat and veggie options available) and cupcakes from Buttercup Cakes (resistance is futile). Bring cash or a card for the comestibles, a blanket to sit on and your beverage of choice, including the adult kind (water will be provided).
The good news is it's free to members. The bad news is you gotta be a member to go! The other good news is membership in the Land Trust starts at $50.
