Join Melinda Kralj, the Curator of the Australian Collection, for the fourth event of the UCSC Arboretum Garden Tour Series. This collection of Australia specimens is the largest one outside of Australia itself! The guided tour will include the Myrtle Family, such as Eucalyptus, and the ancient Protea Family, such as Grevilleas. Hummingbirds, who might be the biggest fans of this collection, will be hovering nearby.
After the tour, there will be a chance to join the curator for a picnic, so bring along a lunch.
UCSC Arboretum. 12-1pm. Meet in front of Norrie's Gift Shop. Spaces are limited; purchase tickets here ahead of time. Tours will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
