Join the Santa Cruz Bird Club for a stroll by the Salinas Rivermouth. Fearless leader Eric Feuss will show us how to scope the sea and sky for shorebirds, coastal birds, and recently sighted birds. Afterwards, you can join the group for a (completely optional!) afternoon trip to Moonglow Dairy, Zmudowski State Beach or south to Fort Ord Dunes State Park. Bring a snack and a jacket, because this trip will happen rain or shine!

Trip departs 7am from the Aptos Wells Fargo bank, or meet before 8 at the Salinas river mouth parking lot. Take Hwy 1 south past Castroville and take the Del Monte Ave exit just after the Salinas River. Turn right (toward bay), and follow the dirt road to parking lot. 7-11am. Free.
