Whippersnappers in the 7-12 range are welcome on this two-hour hike through the redwoods of Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Make sure the kiddos are in closed-toed shoes and bring some water for this outing through the big trees. Register 15 minutes before the hike at the Nature Lodge.
Big Basin Redwoods SP, Boulder Creek. 10am. Free, but parking is $10. Hike repeats June 25.
