Docent Steve Stolper leads a 5-hour course on survival with an emphasis on fire, water purification and signaling for help. Wear clothes that can get dirty, bring sturdy shoes and pack a lunch, snacks, and at least 1 liter of water. Meet at Park Headquarters.
Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Boulder Creek. 10am-3pm. Free, but parking is $10.
