Every year birders of all skills are invited to participate in the Christmas Bird Count. This count helps provide valuable information to the National Audobon Society about the number of resident species and their population size. The Año Nuevo CBC is ranked among the top 50 bird counts nationwide in terms of species observed. Afterwards, join fellow birders for a locally hosted dinner and regale others with your stories of the day. Registration required.
Registration here by Dec. 26. Coordinators will respond with the necessary time and location information for the Jan. 2 event.
