Trail-runner, ultra-marathoner and Patagonia ambassador Krissy Moehl will be visiting Santa Cruz Friday, Jan. 15, to promote her new book, "Running your first Ultra."
Appropriately, the evening begins at 6pm with a run. Not one of Krissy’s usual 100-mile jaunts (obviously), this will be a three-mile fun-run from the Patagonia Outlet through downtown Santa Cruz and back. It will be dark, so bright colors, costumes, and headlamps are all encouraged. All levels of runners are encouraged to participate.
At 7pm, the doors to the Patagonia Outlet will open for conversation along with free refreshments followed by a short film and slideshow presentation chronicling some of the adventures Krissy's legs and lungs have taken her on. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session and a book signing.
