Gift giving and group outings are essential to many holidays--why not do something special for Earth Day? Sempervirens Fund is holding a work day at Castle Rock State Park on behalf of our lovely planet. Join them in removing non-native plants at Castle Rock's future park entrance, a first step in restoring native grassland and woodland to the area. Come prepared for moderately strenuous work and sloped terrain--wear sturdy shoes. Snacks and beverages are provided, but don't forget a bag lunch.
