Juan Bautista de Anza led the expedition that brought the Castro family and the seeds of a dynasty to California almost 250 years ago. Today, view the Castro Adobe through the eyes of the Spanish and Mexican settlers who colonized California as State Parks Interpreter Joseph Carr Ritchie takes visitors through the life of de Anza and the role of the Castros in California history.
