Do you tromp hills by foot, or atop your noble steed? If you’re one of the latter, then saddle up and join the Santa Cruz County Horsemen’s Association for their 30th annual Fireworks Endurance Ride. Choose from one of three rides (25-mile, 50-mile, or leisure) and enjoy Santa Cruz’s finest meadows and redwoods at Henry Cowell, Wilder Ranch, upper campus, and Pogonip. Clinics are on Friday night. Attend the art show and live bluegrass the following evening. Food comes highly recommended and many awards will be given. Be sure to follow the host and AERC’s regulations- details here.
