The community spirit of aloha will be alive and well at the outrigger canoe races and Polynesian culture Festival at the Santa Cruz Wharf. Pull a foursome together to compete in the paddle races or watch from the wharf. Then gear up for the festival's Polynesian music, dancing, and crafts. Make sure to check out the Marine Mammal Center's booth on Hawaii's endangered Monk Seal.
Santa Cruz Wharf. Races - 9am. $100 for a team of 4. Festival 11am-5pm. Free.
