Capitola, the oldest West Coast beach resort, is a beautiful junction of land and sea. Colorful buildings pepper the shore. Trendy shops and restaurants entertain visitors. The city also boasts its own art and wine festival, during which guests may enjoy dancing, street performers, over 150 artists, and 22 wineries from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The festivities begin Friday at 11am and continue until Sunday evening. Schedule here.
