5th Annual Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival - Day 2

Date:

Sun, 04/06/2014 - 09:00

The Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz throw a two-day celebration of local mountain biking culture complete with jump contests, pump track and short track races and bike skill clinics. There'll also be a shuttle to Soquel Demonstration Forest for $25 from Shuttlesmith, a beer garden featuring Uncommon Brewers and the chance to test demo bikes and buy cutting-edge gear in the Expo Area. Free kids' rodeo all weekend sponsored by Specialized and Scotts Valley Cycle Sport. Last year over 9,000 bike fans showed up for this lovefest and party in Aptos Village, a 50 percent increase over 2012 and 220 percent increase in registered participation. Who knows what'll happen this year?
