The elephant seals annual return to Año Nuevo State Park for their breeding season is underway. Come see these incredible hulking creatures as males battle for supremacy, females give birth to pups, and all enjoy sometime sunbathing. Due to the sensitive nature of this breeding ground, all visits must be docent led. Reservations are recommended, but tickets are available each day on a first come first serve basis.

The guided walk is across three miles of rolling sand dunes and considered moderately strenuous. Water and snacks are recommended. Tickets are $7 per person, children under 3 are free.
