How did Save Our Shore spice up a beach cleanup? By hosting a beach cleanup festival. Head over to Seacliff State Beach for a celebration of the S.S. Palo Alto and its significance and history. Save Our Shores is partnering with UCSC Social Art Students for a beach cleanup and exploration of social art work to promote awareness of ocean-related issues. Art created from plastic pollution will be displayed to promote ocean awareness and sustainability. All cleanup supplies will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring reusable buckets and gloves. For more information, contact cleanup@saveourshores.org.
