With a broad selection of regionally-friendly plants in the company of wise garden curators and docents, this Fall Plant Sale is surely the event of the year for all green thumbs. The UC Santa Cruz Arboretum and California Native Plant Society join forces to provide a variety of quality plants at a good price. Non-invasive, drought tolerant plants that are native to California will be sold, but there will also be Australian, New Zealand and South African native species available that get along with the California natives in this Mediterranean climate. Whether you are a novice and not quite sure if your thumb is green or black, or an expert in all things flora, there will be many docents and curators present to answer questions.
10am-4pm for Arboretum and California Native Plant Society Members
Noon-4pm for the general public
