Archaeology isn't all raiding tombs or finding lost arks. The Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park wants to take you on a trip through time. It's a long journey from being buried in the dirt to resting in a museum display case. Presented by the Santa Cruz Archeological Society, this demonstration will take visitors through the nitty gritty of an archaeologist's work. This free event include hands on activities that will let you discover the story hidden in ancient artifacts. Check the weather beforehand as rain cancels the event.
