Every year the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History hosts an exhibit of the work of science illustrators, a group of artists as dedicated to precision and accuracy as to beauty. This year members of the California Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and the CSUMB Science Illustration Graduate Program show more than 60 works depicting birds, plants, mammals and invertebrates. See the show at the Museum Tuesdays through Saturdays until June 29.
Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, 1305 E Cliff Dr, Santa Cruz. Open Tues-Sat, 10am-5pm. Admission $4 adults; $2 students and seniors. (Memberships, $35 per adult or $50 per family, translate to free admission.)
