Were there once brown bears in Big Basin? Museum curator Lisa Robinson will be talking to visitors all about the once abundant brown bear. You can listen to the adventurous tales of when man and beast clashed early in California's history and how the bear's downfall came about quite recently. Leave the little ones at home, this presentation is not suitable for young children. Meet in the Old Lodge.
Big Basin State Park, 21600 Big Basin Way, Boulder Creek. 2pm-4pm. Free but parking is $10.
