Who will be crowned the sand-crafting champion of Capitola’s 63rd Begonia Festival? After putting your sculpting skills to the test, enjoy the fishing derby, row boat races, movies on the beach, dancing, live music, and, of course, a begonia float parade.
Today's highlights: Sand sculpture contest 8-noon on Capitola Beach; concert at the Esplanade Park with Todd Morgan & the Emblem at 4pm; screening of Happy Feet on the beach at dusk. Find the schedule of events here.
