Come to El Chino Restaurant for good food and good friends while commemorating Big Stick Surfing. There will be awards, speeches, surfing footage on the big screen and stories throughout the night.
Earlier in the day, watch or take part in the Holiday Scrimmage from 9am-12pm. For a $10 fee, compete in two friendly 15-minute heats and learn how to judge and tabulate scores. If you're on the fence about surfing, free cinnamon rolls and hot dogs might convince you to join.
