Combine two outdoor passions on this guided bike and hike of the Waddell Valley. While riding up the canyon, you'll learn about the sights and natural history of the Waddell Valley, including the Eagle Tree, remnants of a logging operations, and banana slug behavior. This amazing adventure will be up to 14 miles; you may even make it all the way to the stunning Berry Creek Falls, depending on the group. We'll lock our bikes and walk the last little bit.
Participants bring their own bike, helmet, and bike lock. The bike must be able to handle rough fire roads. It is also recommended that you bring lunch and plenty of water.
Meet at the Ranger Station at Rancho del Oso, 17 miles north of Santa Cruz on Highway 1. 10am. Free.
