Our favorite beach clean-up warriors. Save our Shores, are heading inland and joining Friends of the Rail and Trail for a track clean up along the future site of the Coastal Rail Trail.
Today they are focusing on the section of track 'n' trail between the San Lorenzo River trestle and 17th Ave. (which by the way just received a $1.5 million pledge from Land Trust of Santa Cruz County).
To join in the fun, meet at the corner of Seabright and Murray or the Simkins Swim Center by the Schwan Lake entrance.
BTW: Participants will be given a chance to win a Blix electric bike.
