The last time the Santa Cruz Bird Club went to Watsonville someone spotted a common cuckoo—a citizen of the Eastern Hemisphere. Regulars like the great blue heron are almost guaranteed on this outing. Who knows what else the wetlands around Ramsay Park will turn up this time around? One way to find out: meet at Watsonville Wetlands Nature Center. 8am.
