A pair of fixed bolts is designed to make setting up a top rope anchor a breeze, and this course will teach you how to be efficient and proficient every time you encounter this type of climbing anchor set up. REI Experiences Guide will cover all you need to know to utilize fixed anchor bolts to build an equalized and secure climbing anchor. They will teach you how to identify trustworthy bolts, how to tie the required knots, and what to look for in a solid and redundant climbing anchor. This class is designed for those with some prior top rope climbing experience who are comfortable belaying others. All anchor building supplies are provided by REI. Click here for event details.
