The desert is a beautiful and mysterious place. It can also kick your ass. Adventure Out leads a four-day, three-night trip to Anza Borrego Desert State Park that celebrates both these facts. In the park's beautiful Palm Canyon you'll learn basic desert survival skills—finding shelter, locating water and making fire—and other ancient arts like carving stone tools. Then you have the option for a solo night out—a chance to sleep alone under the stars, listening to all the voices of the desert, just like humans have done for millennia.
