Yes, folks, the time has come: the public can finally explore the Coast Dairies via guided monthly hikes. This month, join a ranger for a moderate hike through just over 4 miles starting at the BLM parking by Fambrini Farmstand and ending at Liddell Creek. This interpretive hike will meander up coastal terraces and through a redwood forest; it's advised to wear sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing and to bring water and snacks. This hike leaves rain or shine, so come prepared!
Sunday, February 8. 10am. To RSVP for this hike, please call the Hollister BLM Office at 831.630.5027. Parking for this event can be found by turning into the Fambrini Farmstand (approximately 1.5 miles south of Davenport on Highway 1) and following the orange flags to BLM land and parking area.
AND: Don't forget the campaign kickoff event to turn Coast Dairies into the Santa Cruz Redwoods National Monument on Thursday, Feb. 12.
