Join us to explore how we can use drawing as a tool to deepen our relationship with nature.
Through a series of loose warm-up exercises and open-ended drawing prompts, we will flex our creative muscles, let go of perfectionism, and open our minds to what nature wants to show us. These exercises are great for any age and level of experience. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist or even feel like you are good at drawing to take part in these practices–in fact, you are highly encouraged to participate, if that is how you feel! This class is brought to you by Mountain Parks Foundation. While this isn’t a traditional how-to-draw class, you will walk away with more confidence with a pencil in your hand, a few pages of your sketchbook filled, and a feeling of reinvigorated connection with our natural world.
