Earth Day Santa Cruz is back and greener than ever. Over 90 educational and ecologically conscious retail booths will keep parents happy while the New Leaf sponsored Kid's Zone will feature face paint, eco-friendly crafts, and a tumbling center for the little ones. Free rock climbing will let the adults in on the fun.

Sandbar Solar powered live music and entertainment will include:

11:10 a.m. Coffee Zombie Collective (never fear, it's a local band of musicians, not monsters)
12 noon Judging of Environmental Classroom Challenge projects
12:20 p.m. Coffee Zombie Collective
1:10 p.m. Recycled Fashion Show, where local teens show off their own creations
1:50 p.m. SambaDá, a second band

Bring gloves and buckets to tidy up the San Lorenzo with Save Our Shores (11am-1pm), take a composting work shop at the Master Gardener's Booth (all day), or bring your PG&E bills to get a free solar review. Don't forget your reusable water bottles and shopping bags.

Show up on your bi-wheeled steed (a.k.a. bike) and experience the novelty of free (and secure) bike valet, courtesy of Bike Santa Cruz County. Aren't you fancy?
