Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks celebrates great movies filmed in California state parks with a summer outdoor film series at the Mission Adobe. Tonight it's East of Eden starring James Dean, filmed in Mendocino Headlands State Park. Elia Kazan directed this adaptation of John Steinbeck's novel about a pre-WWI Salinas Valley family with an unhappy streak.
