Head out with snacks and water for a rewarding hike that will cover 5-8 miles and last up to five hours. Learn about redwoods, the plants of the forest, fires, history and more with docents Paul and Eva Fewel and Diane Shaw. Hike happens in all weather except strong winds.
Big Basin Redwoods State Park HQ, 21600 Big Basin Way; Tuesdays at 9am; free, but parking is $10.
