Tranquil, uncrowded Fall Creek Park was once the scene of bustling commercial activity as loggers and miners stripped it for lime and processed it onsite in kilns fired by mighty redwoods. The forest is growing back but the ruins of the infrastructure still stand. Pack layers, leave Fido at home and join docents on a walk through the history of this piece of regenerating forest.
