Ditch golfing on Father's Day and take Dad on an outing he'll love: birding at Elkhorn Slough with the Santa Cruz Bird Club! Bring some binoculars and watch for fluttered friends. This excursion is planned for a half-day, ending at 1:00pm. There will also be prizes offered for spottings of especially cute or ugly bird-babies.
Meet at a Sea Harvest Restaurant parking lot, just north of Hwy1 bridge across the slough. 8am.
