Between the beautiful views, incredible surfing and plethora of marine life, the Monterey Bay Sanctuary is certainly something worth celebrating. Come on down to the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf for a day of family-friendly festivities honoring the bay as well as celebrating the 100th birthday of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf. Enjoy three live bands, learn from local environmental organizations and view local art, all while strolling in leisurely fashion along the wharf and feeling the sea breeze on your face. Storytellers, bird spotters, marine experts, boat makers, ecotour guides, fish cleaners and landscapers building a native plant parklet will also be on hand to create a diverse and rich cultural event.
