First Flush Volunteer Training

Date:

Wed, 09/04/2013 - 18:00

The Coastal Watershed Council has thoughtfully monitored our water’s cleanliness for over a decade. They diligently collect data so citizens can make informed decisions about marine environments and resource use. Here's your chance to join in on their noble cause! The CWC is hosting their first volunteer training sessions in September. In preparation for the first rain, volunteers will learn to record the pH, temperature, conductivity, and transparency of water samples. That information will reveal which contaminants are washing off surfaces and into water sources. Just attend two training sessions and you’re ready to save the earth!

CWC First Flush Training Session. Classroom session 9/4. Field session 9/7. Please attend both sessions. Contact Debie at djchirco@coastal-watershed.org or 831.464.9200.
