Sea anemones aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. They have tentacles. They consume and excrete through the same opening. But what they lack in a centralized nervous system, they make up for in the aesthetics department. Celebrate First Friday by heading over to the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History and taking in Yve Adams’s photographs of the beautiful, bright, and sometimes venomous Cnidarians.
