Do you have what it takes to dominate the Ugly Holiday Sweater contest at Mission Adobe tonight? Teddy bears, snowflakes, puffy appliqued Santas in the RED AND GREEN!—tonight brave contestants go sweater á sweater at the adobe overlooking downtown Santa Cruz to determine who's got the wackiest, tackiest holiday garment. We'll even have materials on hand to help you ugly it up.
But that's not all! First Friday at the Mission Adobe tonight features live music, Mexican hot chocolate and a chance to preview a wide selection of cards, maps, jewelry, toys, shirts, coffee mugs, posters, games and nifty doohickeys that are part of the Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks holiday sale. Tonight and this weekend, all merchandise at the Mission Adobe will be discounted 30 percent for Friends members and 20 percent for the general public. Add some twinkly lights and you've got yourself a holiday party.
