Come shopping at the Mission Adobe this Sunday and choose from the best of the Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks ParkStores, where discounts run 30 percent for Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks members and 20 percent for the general public. (Memberships start at a reasonable $25.) You'll find monarch butterfly jewelry, posters, scarves, T-shirts, beanies, socks, finger puppets, beautiful wildlife-themed dishtowels, cool toys for kids ... the list goes on. And it's for a great cause: proceeds benefit the work of Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, which provides vital assistance for the state parks in this area.
