Date:
A hundred years ago, November was when we prepared for a cold winter by the light of the Frost Moon. Although we are insulated from winter's dangers these days, the moon still shines bright, both in the sky and in the legacy of culture and traditions it gives us. Come join the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History for a Frost Moon sunset stroll. On this gentle, hour-long walk, we'll watch the moon rise and learn about the moon's influence on our ocean tides and our cultural traditions.
4:45-5:45 pm. Free for museum members, $5 for non-members. RSVP here
