Girls Gone Wilder is taking a field trip! We head to Saratoga Gap on Saturday, June 14 for a ride at a scenic destination off Highway 35, followed by a picnic at Mountain Winery and wine tasting for those who want to stay on. Says organizer Kristina Hanson:
"We'll keep it fairly local, whilst branching our riding repertoire out of the immediate vicinity, by checking out Saratoga Gap (which Wilder Child Julie Kanagy knows well enough to lead) followed by a stunning panoramic view picnic at the picnic tables of the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. For those of you who want to, we'll head to the winery for a tasting after, for those of you who don't have the full day to spend, you won't be tied to the tasting (or the picnic). Stay tuned for specific details (ready to ride at 10am, top of Skyline, picnic lunches will be collected by Kristina and her baby! and shuttled to the winery for lunch around 12:30. Tasting around 1:30 and done around 2:30 - we can coordinate carpooling too!).
We'll meet at the Saratoga Gap parking lot, at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 35 (aka Skyline Boulevard). 10am. Bring a lunch!
