Have you ever wondered how far an apple will fly? Find out this Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Wilder Ranch State Park Harvest Festival at the inaugural fall fling apple trebuchet event. The day includes tasty treats for sale, old-fashioned games and crafts for all ages. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free. Parking is $10 and supports the park.
