By now, we’ve all heard about the Land Trust’s $1 million campaign to build a wildlife crossing under Highway 17. Tonight, the whole team behind this project will be giving a presentation on all the nitty gritty details involved with the project. What they’ll cover: Why we need a wildlife tunnel, why it needs to be in this spot (the Laurel Curve), what’s been done so far, what still needs to be done, and how the community can help.
Afterward, Hilltromper and filmmaker Jordan Plotsky will record your Cougar Tales in the beautiful Grove Room for a video to come later. Come share the stories of your mountain lion sightings and learn about the wildlife crossing!
