Join Santa Cruz Mountains Trail Stewardship (SCMTS) for a unique combination of a social hike and trail maintenance event on weekday mornings, and become a valuable part of the team that monitors local trails.
At Hike & Help events, we scout trails and perform light maintenance tasks while exploring the beauty of Santa Cruz parks. Join us in the main parking lot for a rewarding day of trail stewardship! When you arrive, simply let the staff kiosk know you're with Santa Cruz Mountain Trail Stewardship to have the $10 fee waived. We'll be hiking along the coastal side of Wilder Ranch, performing basic trail maintenance such as brushing vegetation and ensure drains are ready to go for the first rain!
