The tide is turning: Santa Cruz is becoming a real mountain biking town. And MBoSC needs your help. Billed as a leadership event, tonight's meeting is designed to attract energetic and dedicated mountain biking volunteers and leaders to make the magic happen. MTB pioneer Keith Bontrager will talk about the early days of mountain biking in the Cruz, and we'll hear about riding opportunities in San Vicente Redwoods, Coast Dairies, Soquel Demonstration Forest and other parks.
Says this message from MBoSC: "In the past month alone, MBoSC has been asked to help out with the BLM managed Coast Dairies (6,000 acres), San Vicente Redwoods (formerly CEMEX - 8,500 acres) and a new pump track in the city of Santa Cruz. These opportunities are beyond our current club capacity. We need you to be part of MBoSC's leadership and work to make these riding opportunities a reality."
