Vanessa Hauswald went to college in Durango, Colorado, where she perfected her mountain biking skills and developed an abiding passion for the sport. She went on to teach high school English in Petaluma, but it was in teaching extracurricular activities—mountain biking, naturally—that she really found her stride. Today she's the head of the High School NorCal Cycling League. And she's a cancer survivor. And she's rad.
Tonight Juliana Bicycles kicks off its Juliana Bike Nights series with an evening of camaraderie, Bloody Marys, snacks and inspiration from Vanessa.
