William Savage's 2007 documentary about the birth of the mountain bike industry goes back in time to 1970s and 1980s Marin County, where legends like Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze and Charlie Kelly started running WWII-era "klunkers" with fat tires down the slopes of Mt. Tam and adjusting the bikes for better rides. Klunkerz screens tonight at SCMB's Westside taproom (see trailer below).
